Owner/Chief Executive Officer
John is Chief Executive Officer and a founding partner in Finish Line Binderies, and is responsible for overall operations for both its Cleveland, Ohio and Atlanta, Georgia locations. Finish Line Binderies’ combined sales and production capability place the company in the Top 10 Largest Trade Binders in the nation, servicing the world’s largest printers for book manufacturing and related services.
Prior to taking on the role of running Finish Line Binderies, John was a founding partner and President of Signet Development, Ltd. While at Signet, John completed numerous acquisitions and real estate development projects involving both new construction and renovation over a seven year period ranging in value from two to thirty million dollars. John began his business career in Akron, Ohio as a corporate lending officer for Bank One responsible for maintaining and growing a loan portfolio in the asset-based lending department. As a member of the Signet Enterprise team, John’s well-rounded experience in finance, real estate development and manufacturing operations help him add value at all stages of the deal
making process.
John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance, Accounting and Economics from Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio. He is also involved in numerous civic and community activities including being a member of the Massillon Means Business Board of Directors, and a Training & Education Committee member of the Book Manufacturers’ Institute, a 75-year old, nationally recognized trade association for the book manufacturing industry. John is also a graduate of
Leadership Ohio.
